Iron Grip Defense GC won toss - starts on offense

Petrone and Aiden move the ball for 7 but Thunder can't get 1st down

First Defense play by FS - GC forces a fumble recovering the ball.

Back on Offense - Justin gets 1st down

Justin runs for a GC touchdown -

Fumble on the extra point - no good

Defense - forces lost yardage.

Then FS breaks through the line - Colin Hart making a touchdown saving tackle.

Despite continued good defensive effort FS was able to get into the end zone and take the lead with the extra point.

This only fired GC offense back up with Justin coming back on the field to run for s 45 yards touchdown supported by blocking efforts of Colin Hart and rest of line

Defense continued to push FS back with good tackles by Cobb forcing a 4th down punt

Richard Petrone has one man to beat! Offense fumbles and turns over the ball

Defensive tackles by McDonald and Cobb shut down FS offensive drive as time runs out on the half with GC leading 13 to 7

2nd Half:

Defense was determined to maintain lead but an off sides call allowed FS to get a 1st down. Good tackles by Tariche and Gunn held FS to minimal yardage gain with Varano shutting down the drive on a 4th and 4 yd attempt by FS.

Offensive drives by Hart, Muldoon and Petrone put the team in scoring position. Aiden carries the ball into the end zone for a third GC touchdown - assuring a GC win. (Fumble on the extra point attempt - no good)

Defense took to the field as the clock ran out. GC wins 17-7!
