GC U10 Shooting Stars Score Another Victory

Merideth Aneser, Eileen Farrell and Domique Dragato attack the goal The Shooting Stars continued their winning ways with another shutout victory, a 3-0 win over a tough Manhasset squad. Bridget Shea led the scoring this week with two goals. In the first half, Bridget scored on a perfectly placed penalty kick and in the second half Bridget showed great skills worked on in practice to score her second goal. Caroline Munn added the other goal for the Shooting Stars with a strong kick to the upper corner of the net.

The Stars continue to dominate with defense! Caitlin Etienne and Elizabeth McKay took over as goal keeper this week and played tremendously, helping continue the Stars streak of shutouts. They are 4-0-1 this year with all four wins coming in shutout fashion.
