Adult Ed Is Going Places!
Adult Education is going to three beautiful areas of the world next year and you have an opportunity to discover what each of these trips is about. A discussion and slide presentation of these tours will be held at the Garden City High School Library according to the schedule found below. There is no cost or obligation to attend these presentations but you must register by calling 478-1070 or 478-1072

Our 10 days of adventure will afford the traveler the time to explore and experience the beauty of Western Canada in the comfort of a train journey through the Rocky Mountains. The trip will be visiting Banff National Park, Lake Louise, and the highest peaks in the Canadian Rockies. You can expect to stand on the 1,000 foot Athabasca Glacier and travel the famous Icefields Parkway. The trip will also include a tour of the beautiful city of Vancouver as well as Vancouver Island and the Butchart Gardens.
South Dakota, Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands - July 9th - July 15th, 2009
Our 7 day trip to a little visited part of the United States will include tours of Mt. Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park on a Buffalo Safari Jeep ride and some of the most stunning scenery on the famous Needle Highway. All of this and more will take place from our home base of Rapid City which, means no packing and unpacking for the entire trip. This is a great family vacation.
Iceland -

Our 8 day trip will visit one of the most fascinating island countries in the world. With the help of guest speakers from Smithsonian Journeys Travel Adventures we will be treated to boat rides through an iceberg field while viewing the many species of native birds. You can relax in the warm, mineral-rich waters of the famous Blue Lagoon, a natural geothermal pool right in the middle of a dramatic lava field as well as visit Thingvellir National Park and the Gullfoss Waterfall. This is a trip of a lifetime.
