NCAA college coach, author and noted speaker on the complex topic of the college recruiting process, Wayne Mazzoni, will present an informative workshop for Garden City community members on Thursday, October 16th, 7 p.m. in the Garden City High School Auditorium.

A former high school and college athlete, Wayne took his first college coaching position in 1992 and quickly learned that the recruiting process was just as difficult for college coaches as the recruitment process he had experienced as a high school athlete. In an effort to make the process easier for both athletes and coaches, he wrote The Athletic Recruiting and Scholarship Guide, and has since expanded on the book with to an in-school presentation, The Athletic Recruiting & Scholarship Seminar.

"Parents of aspiring college athletes will find this seminar extremely helpful towards understanding the recruitment process," commented Garden City High School Athletic Director Nancy Kalafus.
