In last week's article "School Board Begins Year With Accolades," Garden City resident Allison Sparacino asked the school board how much more was expected to be expended by the school district on the litigation involving the Town of Hempstead Industrial Development Agency. She was simply asking how much more money was estimated to be spent on the lawsuit by the district. She was not seeking justification by the district on the $41,558.70 that was being approved that evening for payment to counsel for legal services already rendered on the matter.
