The Cathedral Of The Incarnation The residents and friends of The Village of Garden City are cordially invited to the Rededication of the Cathedral Spire on Saturday, October 11 at 3:00 p.m. Bishop Orris Walker will bless the repaired Cathedral spire and newly restored bell carillon at a Festival Evensong featuring the Cathedral Choirs and the upgraded 1986 Cassavant Freres pipe organ.

The completion of this long anticipated $2 million project, the first in a multi -phased upgrade and modernization of the Cathedral church facility. is a time of celebration for the Cathedral congregation, the residents of Garden City and the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island.

Weather permitting a reception will follow on the South Lawn of the Cathedral's grounds. If the weather is inclement, the reception will move indoors to the Cathedral House on the Cathedral campus. Please come and join us on this historical occasion and celebrate the joy and pride we have in the beautiful Cathedral church bequeathed to us by Cornelia Stewart in memory of her husband Alexander T. Stewart, the founder of the Village of Garden City.
