Danny McCleod gets a high-five great pitching
Danny McCleod gets a high-five great pitching The U8 Sting played under the lights on Friday night and had the time of their lives. This exciting game had parents and kids alike screaming. The Sting is playing in a competitive league with most opposing teams being U-9. The age and size of the opposition are not a deterrent. When the boys found themselves down 9-0 ,against the Mudducks, in the top of the 4th, they rallied themselves and started a major comeback. By the top of the 6th, the Sting led 10-9 and the crowd went wild. Although the Sting ended up defeated 13-10, it was another win in our books. The game went into extra innings and the night air was filled with "buzzing".

Great pitching job for Andrew Hammersley, Tommy Reifler, Cal Stellato, Danny McCleod and a first pitching experience for Joseph "Go-go" Macchiarola. Amazing fielding by Owen Ascher, Ryan Schmidt, Chris Caluori, Andrew Luglio, Gavin Pappas, Michael Roscoe and Stephen Caluori. Brian Carrs as usual was a strong Catcher for the Sting. For the first season, the Sting are becoming a force to be reckoned with.
