Conor Sproat The Flames played an amazing game on Saturday, September 20, and although the opposition was not quite up to snuff, the GC Flames played with skill & showed a lot of class in a lopsided win. Congratulations to the goal scorers who all had one each, Brett Alvarez, Tim Collins, Chris Costigan, Tim Josephs, Pat Slovensky, Conor Sproat and Billy Trimmer. The passing was spot on throughout the game. Passes were crisp and had pace. It was great to hear the boys were communicating on the field. The defense was sharp on the through balls. Attacking players picked up and dispatched quickly. Congratulations to our goalkeepers, the firm of DeMoura, Costigan & Pahlavi. A clean sheet (that is keeper-talk for a shutout) is always a good thing.
