Shooting Stars Play Great Game

Catherine Lori and Julia Foxen The girls U10 Shooting Stars played a great game this past Saturday against a tough Albertson squad. The Shooting Stars played Albertson to a 2-2 tie and remain undefeated for the season. A total team effort was needed in the hard fought match. The Albertson girls jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead but The Shooting Stars quickly got it back and tied it 1-1. Albertson then took a 2-1 lead, but the Stars quickly answered again to tie it up for the final score of 2-2. The Shooting Stars defense made some critical stops in the second half and the offense kept the pressure on all game. Keep up the tough play GC Shooting Stars!
