News From The Children's Room Bats and Pumpkins

Story times and book discussions are underway. Flyers are available in the Children's Room for all of the Fall Programs, Story times and Book Clubs. There are still some available programs. Check with the librarians for registration information.

Two special programs will be held for children this October. Bats! with the Long Island Science Center will be held on Saturday, October 18th, for Grades K-2 at 1 PM and for Grades 3 -5 at 2:30PM. Registration for residents begins on Saturday October 11th at 9 AM. Pumpkin Craft with Donna Green of A Time for Kids will be held on Saturday, October 25th at both 9:30 AM and 10:45 AM for children ages 21/2 to 5 with an adult. Registration for residents begins on Saturday, October 18th at 9 AM.

Please check the library website www.gardencitypl.org for upcoming events and registration dates. Funding for these programs has been provided by the Friends of the Garden City Public Library. Priority for registration and participation is given to children who are Garden City Public Library cardholders.
