Brian Gunn, Jackie Costello, Philip Puccio, Dr Colleen Gunn, Charles Dunne, Dr Laura Como Eight Garden City residents will run the 2008 NYC Marathon on November 2nd for the Team Continuum charity.

Dr Colleen Gunn, Brian Gunn, Jackie Costello, Maura Roberti, Dr. Laura Como, Charles Dunne, Bruce Kaiserman and Philip Puccio will run 26.2 miles for a very worthwhile cause.

Team Continuum is a not-for-profit organization that provides immediate and vital, non-medical, assistance to cancer patients and their families where the diagnosis results in disruption, hardship and uncertainty in their everyday lives. They also provide funding to health care facilities, and foundations, to enhance the delivery of care, communications and educational services for cancer patients.

There is a fund-raising party planned at the the home of Laura and Joseph Como on October 4th at 7:00PM. The cocktail party will include drinks, door prizes, hors d'oeuvres and live music by the famous Jim Roberti Band.
