Garden City resident Leslie Segrete, star of the TLC television show "Trading Spaces," will present "Going Green Long Island" on Saturday, September 27 at 3 p.m. (rebroadcasts at 3 a.m. Sunday, September 28 and Tuesday, September 30th at 1 p.m.)

The program will explore green initiatives taking place on Long Island. It spotlights the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center under construction at Stony Brook University. Also featured will be The Long Island Chapter of the US Green Building Council.
