GC Runner Raises Funds

Donna Darling, Esq., Chair of the Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice groups, and Chair of the firm's Education Law practice, with her son Christian Darling, joined Garden City residents Maria Diglio, Michael Ogazon, Jim Thornton, Tim Josephs, Molly Josephs, Nick Diglio, John Reilly and Robert Votruba in the Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein "Main Street Mile" charity run, raising over $7,000 for Companion in Courage "Lions Den" interactive playrooms to be installed in Huntington Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center. They were joined by runners Pat LaFontaine, NHL Hall of Famer, Nassau County Legislator David Mejias, and athletes of the Rolling Thunder Special Needs Program for developmentally disabled. Ms Darling's efforts were recognized in the post race ceremony, from left to right, Town of Oyster Bay Councilman Anthony Macagnone, Village of Farmingdale Trustee Cheryl Parisi, Pat LaFontaine and Donna Darling center with Nassau County Citations, Nassau County Legislator David Mejias, race organizer Mark Leff of Cisco and a representative of NYS Assemblyman Joseph Saladino, and not pictured Nassau County Dept. of Parks, Recreation and Museums Commissioner Jose Lopez.
