Calling All Classmates!

2008-09-19 / School

It's been forty five years since the Class of '64 graduated from Garden City High School. It was a wonderful class, the tip of the Baby Boomer generation, with so much character, talent and promise. Over the years, as if so often the case, we've lost touch with many of our friends and often wondered how they fared in chasing their hopes and dreams. It would be so cool to see those "kids" again and catch up.

Well, you can! The Class of '64, all 440 of us, are invited to it's 45th Class Reunion next June 27th. Details regarding the place and time are being developed and will be communicated as they are developed. Right now, the key task is to locate as many of our classmates as possible to make this the biggest and best reunion ever.

In order to make communicating fast and easy, email is being used to contact class members and spread details regarding the upcoming reunion. So far, we have only been able to locate 143 class members and need the help of anyone reading this article to increase that number. If you are a member of the GCHS Class of 1964, or if you know someone who is, please contact Tom Schenck at tschenck@cinci.rr.com or 513-745-0495.

We had a wonderful array of personalities in our class and it will be fun to see how we have all changed... and yet stayed the same 45 years later.
