Metrics Pay Off For Middle School Student
Thanks to the keen eye and metric skills of Thomas Reina, currently a seventh-grader at Garden City Middle School, Zero Odor, LLC has changed its packaging. As part of a mathematics exercise last spring, Thomas informed the company in writing of a metric error he spotted on Zero Odor packaging. The company subsequently corrected the product label based on the information Thomas provided.
Pictured here is Zero Odor President Jim Huffstetler and mathematics teacher Marissa Drogin with Thomas Reina. Mr. Huffstetler visited Thomas and his class to present him with a plaque and gift certificates for the company's product, a spray designed to eliminate odors, to all of his classmates.
