2008 Garden City Homecoming Parade

The Garden City community is invited to attend the 2008 Homecoming Parade on Saturday, September 27th commencing at 11:30 a.m. The parade will organize at the Toll House on Seventh Street and begin marching from Franklin Avenue along Seventh Street past the middle school on to Stewart Avenue and terminate on the back field of Garden City High School. This year's parade will be led by the Grand Marshall, Fire and Police Departments, members of the Garden City Public Schools Board of Education and central administration and include the high school marching band, kickline and cheerleaders, as well as floats representing high school groups and clubs, and cars filled with Garden City alumni celebrating their various high school reunions. Homecoming events will culminate with the Garden City vs. Long Beach football game at 1:30 p.m. on the high school athletic field.
