Within the last week, the girls varsity soccer team lost a tough game to South Side on September 5th by a score of 3-1 but then came back with a 2-1 victory over Farmingdale on September 8th. The varsity field hockey team got off to a good start in defending their Long Island title as they defeated Massapequa 3-0 on September 9th. In a gut wrenching game, also on September 9th, the boys varsity soccer team kept South Side scoreless until the last minute of the game, bringing the final score to 1-1.
