On the pre-stormy Saturday afternoon at St. Paul's, the U-10 Chargers started their regular season with an edge of your seat, thrilling win! The opponents were from Port Washington and put up a very tough battle, but in the end Chargers won 4-3. Offensively got off to a good start with Anna Reilly kicking a high arching ball to tie the game1-1. Claire Gallic proceeded to score 3 goals to earn a "hat trick". Great passing by our offensive players Alexandra Archer, Emily Clarke and Caroline Lark. Very strong defense by Joanna Humbert, Caroline Kaczynski, Michaela Fontanetta and Margot Schroeder. Outstanding goalies were Emily Clarke and Michaela Fontanetta. Coaches Bill Clarke and Pierce Archer as well as the parents were proud of the Chargers performance and look forward to next week.
