The lightning and thunder was not coming from the sky but from the Power! Despite the high humidity and difficult playing conditions the Power was all fired up in the first half keeping the ball most of the time at the Rockville Centre defensive zone. The Garden City Power offense was strong exhibiting excellent passing and ball skills making several attempts to score. The Power managed to keep the ball away from their goal for most of the game. The Power rarely gave the Rockville Centre Stars an opportunity to take shots on their goal. The Power dominated the entire game and never gave up their strength and determination keeping the Stars from scoring. The offense made several gallant attempts to score which kept the Rockville Centre Stars in a defensive mode. The Power ended the game 0 to 0. The Power has been practicing hard with both Coach Lavaune Gong and Asst. Coach Joanne Silk and their efforts and commitment were clearly demonstrated by the team's great team work. Way to go POWER!!!!
