Pictured here are Garden City seventh-graders who used their sewing skills at the end of the school year to help comfort children by creating 200 heart-shaped pillows which were donated to the pediatric patients at Winthrop Hospital. These caring students were members of Mrs. Constance Beovich's Home and Careers class at Garden City Middle School. This was the second year Mrs. Beovich's students created these beautiful pillows as gifts to Winthrop patients.
