Garden City Hotel Helps Homeless

Jacobs, EAC Assistant Vice President of Development, Jeanine Contesini, The Garden City Hotel Executive Housekeeper, Alyssa Sanchez, EAC Employment Readiness Program Director The Education & Assistance Corporation's (EAC) Employment Readiness Program has been the recipient of much needed toiletry products donated by The Garden City Hotel.

EAC's Employment Readiness Program works with Nassau County's homeless population to develop the tools needed to secure gainful employment by providing employment assessments, job readiness training, job placement referrals and case management.

"Our clients are very appreciative of these donations and have often indicated that they really need toiletries," stated Program Director, Alyssa Sanchez. "We are grateful to the wonderful people at The Garden City Hotel for caring about the homeless community in Nassau County".

EAC is a leading social service, not-for-profit agency that administers 72 programs on Long Island and in the five boroughs. EAC's programs provide educational, vocational and counseling services, mediation, and rehabilitation for non-violent offenders and support to children, families and senior citizens.
