Undefeated In GrandMasters Play

This season Garden City residents Tony Giangrasso and Ray McRory were members of the Huntington team which won the USTA Long Island GrandMasters League Championship. The league is comprised of teams whose members are at least sixty years of age. Tony and Ray as a doubles team remained undefeated in league play for the second season in a row. At the USTA Eastern Sectional Championships, held in Binghamton NY in August, the Huntington team finished tied for first place in total wins, but was awarded second place based on games won, thereby just missing qualifying for the National Championship.
