GC School District Welcomes New Teachers
      Garden City Public Schools is pleased to welcome twenty-four new teachers to the district for the 2008-2009 school year. All of the new-to-the-district teachers bring prior teaching experience to their appointments and impressive educational credentials, including degrees from Columbia University, Boston College, New York University, Villanova University and Georgetown University.

      Kimberly Singer , daughter of Wesley & Carolyn Singer, received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Alabama, Summa Cum Laude, with a 4.0 average. As a swimmer for University of Alabama, Kim was honored with Academic All SEC, all four years. She was captain of the swim team in her senior year.
