"Artmosphere" will round out a fabulous summer as this unique display, a first for The Artists Group, comes to the stage at Tilles Center on Sept. 4, 5, 6 and 7 at 8 p.m.. Tickets are $30 each; call the Tilles Center Box office at 299-3100. The audience will be able to feel the air as the dancers go right by them, as they too will share the stage at Tilles Center with the performers. Police Report: Mischief and Mayhem

On August 29, a 19-year-old female allegedly stole a $198 pair of Seven jeans and a $198 Guess sweater at Lord and Taylor...Two Coke machines were found damaged at the St. Paul's complex comfort station between August 26 and 27. $200 damage... On August 28, Detective Madden arrested a 35-year-old Elmont man for not returning a rental car to Budget-Rent-A-Car, Hempstead. It seems the man had received numerous letters telling him to do so...There were complaints of alcohol being served to minors and over the past month, several places had been under surveillance by both Hempstead and Garden City police, which resulted in the arrests of a 40-year-old Levittown man, and a 46-year-old Floral Park man, both working at Luk Oil, Clinton Street. The charges included unlawful dealing with a child and violations of the ABC law. Also arrested was a 20-year-old Hempstead man for selling to minors at Kayla's Deli, Franklin Street...On August 24, four Sidekick cell phones were stolen at T-Moblie, Old Country Rd., after thieves cut cable wires securing them there. Value was $1350...PO Oswald arrested a 27-year-old Corona man for alleged DWI (.12 %), alleged speeding at 60 in a 30-mph zone, unsafe lane change and tinted windows, at Clinton Rd., on September 1...On August 30, PO Wehr while on patrol, observed a 16-year-old allegedly in possession of alcohol and he was released to his parents... A $200 unlocked Trek mountain bike was taken from the GC High School on August 27... Unknown persons stole copper bars valued at $3750 from the roof of a GC Plaza building on the same day... A 21-year-old Bronx man was arrested after he attempted to cash a fraudulent check valued at over $900 at Commerce Bank on August 27. PO Wedra and PO MCCarthy apprehended the thief after he fled the bank and charged him with the criminal possession of a forged instrument...
