CPOA Meeting Tuesday, September 9th
Please join us at our first CPOA meeting for 2008-09 at the Senior Center on Tuesday, September 9th at 8PM. Our guest speaker is Chief James J. Meehan of the Garden City Fire Department. Chief Meehan will address our board and resident guests with an overview of the fire department personnel, operations and equipment as well as information on fire safety recommendations. Ample time will be provided for Q&A.
So please mark you calendar to attend and meet Chief Meehan and the Officers and Board of Directors of the CPOA as well as our BOT representatives for the Central Section - Trustee Donald Brudie and Trustee Thomas Lamberti who will provide updates on all village matters including St. Paul's, the GC Hotel and much more! Regarding St. Paul's, the CPOA encourages all residents to read the report from the Mayor's Committee to thoroughly understand the recommendations from the committee. If you don't have access to the report, contact Village Hall for assistance. The open house forums by AvalonBay are being held on Sept 10th and 16th from 1 to 4PM and from 6 to 9 PM at Cluett Hall.
