It's back to school and back to the Library for new fall programs. The Librarians in the Children's Room have planned many new and exciting programs for the Fall. Flyers are available in the Children's Room for the all Fall programs, story times and book clubs.

Registration for the Fall begins on Saturday, September 6th at 9 AM for story times and book discussions. Registration will take place in the Children's Room or on line at www.gardencitypl.org. Registration for book discussions can only be done in person in the Children's Room.

Family Safety Movie and New Parent Lecture Series

On Saturday, September 13th , the Children's Room will feature a Safety Movie for the whole family at 3:30 PM - "Winnie The Pooh's Great School Bus Adventure and Too Smart For Strangers". No registration is required.

The Children's Room is pleased to announce a new lecture series for parents. This important lecture, "Apple of My Eye I", will focus on Megan's Law and will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:30 PM. Ticket distribution begins on Saturday, September 13 at 9:00 AM.

Priority for registration and participation is given to children who are Garden City Public Library cardholders.
