Garden City Dance Project begins an exciting year ahead with its 15th season under the direction of Jean Philippou and Annie Ippolito. Anna Farkas also joins the Dance Project staff as ballet teacher. Dance Project is comprised of Garden City girls ages 10 through high school as well as alumni members who return from college each year to dance in the end-of-year performance.

This year's performance in May entitled Calling All Angels was a beautifully choreographed compilation of jazz, ballet, modern and pointe pieces, from the touching "Fragile" to the imaginative "I am the Walrus" that closed the show and brought the audience to its feet. After the final performance, the girls enjoyed the wrap party with their teachers at Grimaldi's Restaurant.
