Mr. and Mrs. Geoffrey Rick Elizabeth Cappell Bart and Geoffrey Lawrence Rick were married May 23, 2008 at St. Joseph's Church in Garden City. The ceremony was officiated by Monsignor James Lisante. The reception was at The Mansion at the Woodlands in Woodbury.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Jane Cappell of West Hempstead, and the late James W. Cappell.

Geoffrey is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rick of Garden City.

Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Loyola College in Maryland and a Master of Education in English Education from New York University. She teaches English at South Side High School in Rockville Centre.

Geoffrey earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut and a Master of Public Administration from C. W. Post. He works as a Transportation Analyst for the New York State Department of Transportation.
