recreation dept. dance class schedule announced
The Garden City Recreation Department Dance Company was proud to present another fabulous showcase under the direction of Felicia Lovaglio on June 13th at the Herrick's Community Center Theatre. The evening was a memorable experience for all girls involved.
The performance consisted of choreographed works by Felicia and her teachers: Mary Searson, Amanda Fiorentine, Gina Nicole Caputo and Christie Halloran. The company members, who range in age from eight to adult, showed off their talents in various dance forms including tap, hip hop, ballet, jazz, and modern. The hard work all our dancers put into their rehearsals showed that night as well as the spirit and fun they put into every dance routine.
Special thanks to Kevin Ocker and the Garden City Recreation Department for giving all children the opportunity to dance.
