Pat and Adam heading the raffles and silent auctions On August 2nd, a group of alumni from Garden City High School (Katie Kim, Andrea Tan, Michele Auwarter, Matt Bloom, Adam Burak and Pat Sullivan) raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through an event called "Luau for Life." Family and friends of the hosts, Katie Kim and Andrea Tan, gathered together for a day of food, music, silent auctions, and raffles at the beautiful Tan home. Merchants around Garden City made generous donations of food and gift certificates to the cause, and the event raised over $3,500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
