"Fall Show" At Garden City Public Library
The Art League of Nassau County will present a mixed media "Fall Show" in the Garden City Public Library's gallery and showcases from August 29 - September 28, 2008 located at 60 Seventh St., Garden City, N.Y. View oil paintings, pastels, watercolors, sculpture, and much more.

Funding for gallery and showcase exhibits is provided by The Friends of the Garden City Public Library. Installation and removal dates are subject to change.
The Art League of Nassau County, founded in 1925, is the oldest art league on Long Island. Present membership is approximately 150. The League's objectives include: bringing into helpful cooperation those who are interested in all the visual arts; stimulating public interest by various programs; encouraging art education and awakening civic consciousness to the value of beauty in the community.
Through these objectives, the Art League of Nassau has achieved a reputation of esteem and prestige throughout Long Island and the Metropolitan area. Many nationally prominent artists are among its members. At monthly meetings, the League continues to offer informative and inspiring demonstrations by notable guest artists.
