The invitations are in the mail for the Friendship Luncheon sponsored by the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead on Wednesday, September 17 thfrom Noon to 3 p.m. at The Westbury Manor on Jericho Turnpike just off Glen Cove Road.

Florence Freda and Barbara were in charge of the invitations and mailing and Ruth Lacy will receive the reservations. Tables will be for 8 people and the fabulous menu gives you an Appetizer, you get to choose one of the following Entrees: Filet Mignon Bordelaise, Grilled Norwegian Salmon, or Chicken Portofino. Dessert, will be served with coffee or tea and a glass of wine will be included with your entree. All this will cost only $44.00 per member or guest and the check should be made payable to the Community Club of Garden City ad Hempstead and sent to Ruth Lacy at 110 Stratford Avenue, Garden City, N.Y. 11530.

The Friendship Luncheon gives you a chance to catch up on what folks did over the summer and what the programs will be in the coming club season. Guests are welcome and do include their names and all choices of entree when you mail in your reservation. Do it today and it will be one less thing to remember on Labor Day weekend. There will also be entertainment by Gina Hever and Paul Fraccallvieri that you will all enjoy. A special Door Prize and Table Prize will add a lovely touch.
