The girls were playing under difficult weather conditions with the average temperature for the weekend being at least 90 with very high humidity. The girls did not allow a small matter like temperature get in their way. The team under the direction and training of Coach Paul LeSueur won the East Hudson Tournament and took home the cup. The team consisted of dedicated players who have been training with Coach LeSueur this summer in the CAPT Program. Their weekly intense training was demonstrated by the player's impressive skills and confidence and amazing team work. The Centennials played four games winning three out of four in the Gold division which qualified them for title game. The team played strong offense with amazing defense and goal tending allowing them to secure a 1-0 win in the Championship game. Coach LeSueur's coaching style allowed each girl to play to their full potential. The team is very fortunate to have him in charge. The parents collectively managed to keep the players cool by setting up tents and providing drinks. The weekend did not go by without lots of laughs and a good time was had by all.

Way to go team!!!!
