It was with surprise and delight that the ladies of The Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead received a gift of a digital camera and developer from Justine Hami as a token of thanks for the club's support of her college career.

Justine, now about to embark on her senior year at Cornell, has been the recipient of the Community Club's annual scholarship award starting in her freshman year. The ladies are anticipating great things from Justine, who plans to pursue a career as a medical doctor.

The Community Club offers a variety of programs, classes in the fine arts and trip September through June. For information about joining the club, call secretary Willa Worl at 746-0488 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.
