Senator Kemp Hannon (R-6th S.D.) recently congratulated John D'Argenzio as the winner from St. Anne's School of Senator Hannon's 2008 "There Ought To Be A Law" contest. The annual program honors the ideas for New York State legislation, as conceived by local students. John's winning entry proposed: "It should be mandatory for children at the age of six to get blood tests. Doctors need to screen for Celiac disease. 1 in 133 people have this disease or some wheat or gluten sensitivity. People in our country are misdiagnosed or never diagnosed."
