On Saturday, July 12, Chief Jim Meehan and Leo Stimmler defeated Paul Keller and Dennis Menger in the Garden City horseshoe championship sponsored by the American Horseshoe Federation. Meehan and Stimmler will now represent Long Island in the national championship in Las Vegas the weekend of December 13. More ... On Friday June, 13th the Garden City Centennials traveled in style to this Intramural Soccer Tournament. 40 Boys and 10 coaches, which comprised of four teams, made the trip to this tournament via luxury coach. Garden City Centennials 3rd graders entered four teams in this Fathers Day Soccer Tournament. Pictured here is the first place team which concluded the tournament as runners-up.
