Police Report: Mischief and Mayhem

On July 8, at 2:17 AM, police arrested a 27-year-old Williston Park woman at Franklin Avenue/Seventh Street, for alleged DWI (.10%) and no insurance... On July 7, someone took a solar power light fixture from the front lawn at a Meadow Street residence. $35...Detectives Madden and Rothermel arrested a 40-year-old Freeport woman on July 4, after an investigation of her alleged $100 theft at Pay/half, Franklin Avenue... PO Hennessy and Detective Madden arrested a subject for burglary at a Franklin Avenue office on July 7, after the man had entered a closed office and allegedly stolen a handbag containing credit cards there. He was also charged with a grand larceny for an incident on April 30 and 2 ID thefts relating to that. An investigation continues... PO Hennessy, while on patrol on July 6, noticed damage to a window ($1,000) at the GC Bistro, 662 Franklin Avenue. An investigation continues... On July 3, 3 AM, GC detectives and police officers, as a result of an investigation, arrested a 17-year-old Central Islip male at the Nassau Blvd. RR station, for 23 various crimes, which included grand larceny, criminal mischief, and burglary. He also is allegedly responsible for larcenies from vehicles in the Garden City, Garden City Park, and Stewart Manor area...
