Assemblyman Thomas McKevitt (R,C,I-East Meadow) will be sponsoring a town hall meeting on Thursday, July 17th from 7-10 pm at the Mineola Community Center, located at 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, to address the ongoing issues surrounding the MTA-Long Island Railroad's Third Track project.

Members of the community are invited to attend to voice their concerns. Chairing the committee will be Mineola Mayor Jack Martins. Committee members include Tim Dalton of Floral Park, New Hyde Park Mayor Dan Petruccio, Village of Westbury Trustee Bill Wise, Assemblyman Tom Alfano, and Assemblyman Rob Walker.

"It is important that residents are given a forum to voice their concerns about the impact this project will have on the community. This meeting will help the task force to decide which actions to take to continue to protect the community's best interests," Assemblyman McKevitt said.
