Hot and thirsty, they battled their opponents from early afternoon until well into the evening. Persevering thru the summer weather and tough opposition from Oceanside, Island Trees and Merrick the Team won their group and faced off against Farmingdale with the winner going home with the Cup. Despite being their fourth game of the day the girls played brilliantly in the final game, scoring a goal on each side of halftime and waiting out a lightning storm to defeat their opponents 2-0 and win the trophy. Congratulations to the girls...Enjoy the Summer !!
