The Garden City Public Library kicked off its Summer Reading Club for children on Wednesday, June 25th. "Cowboy Ernie", the singin', rope-trickin' cowboy from Idaho entertained children and parents with songs and rope tricks. He invited the children on stage to help him sing-along to "Home on The Range".

"Cowboy Ernie" demonstrated his rodeo skills and twirled his lasso around two reading club participants during the kick-off show for the Library's Summer Reading Club.
