The Garden City Retired Men's Club is a non-profit membership organization formed in April 1961 for the purpose of providing educational and recreational activities for the retired male senior citizens of the Garden City community. The organization is non-sectarian and non-political.

All retired men 55 years or older residing in the Incorporated Village of Garden City are eligible for membership upon paying a five (5) dollar initiation fee. If you are eligible and interested to join us, please come by. Every Monday is Open House. Or call Joe Leto at 248-9022.

The Club House facility is located at No. 6 Golf Club Lane (directly behind Lord & Taylor parking lot). The building is open every day of the week, except Friday, and offers 2 regulation size pool tables, television, card/tables, board games as well as outdoor Bocce, horseshoes and shuffleboard. Our Programs Committee is planning a very active speaker program. Come join us!

Save The Date

Our final plans are pretty much in order for our annual Sunday afternoon Co-Ed party. Sunday, July 20 th is the date, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. is the time and $27.50 per person ($55.00 per couple) will be the price with a reservation. (It will cost $30.00 per person at the door. However, there may be a restriction on the number of entrants permitted at the door. If you know you are coming please let us know as soon as possible. It helps us to determine our projected food requirement. Also it will give us plenty of time to prepare your name tag. Dr. Rivara is ready and waiting to hear from you. It's Time For a Little Bocce and Outdoor Sports!

The bocce and horseshoe courts are ready and waiting for some action. Get a partner and sign up for the spring/summer tournaments. Sign-up sheets have been posted at the Golf Club Lane Center. So while the sun is shining and the courts are open ... practice, practice, practice.
