There will be a "no fee" volleyball clinic open to all Garden City middle school and high school girls from Monday, July 21st, to Thursday, July 24th, 4:00pm - 8:00pm, at the high school gym. The clinic will provide instructions and demonstrations for beginners, middle school and high school girls in a fun-filled atmosphere. Participants will learn basic, intermediate and advanced techniques for all skills (passing, attacking, serving, setting, blocking and floor defense), proper footwork, positioning, offensive/defensive strategies and the importance of team play. Instruction will be provided by Phil Opinante, GC Girls' and Boys' varsity coach, and Mike Weiner, JV coach.
