Thunder Football Players Clinic Complete Success
Coach Curtin gets the kids together
This past Sunday was the Thunder Football player clinic for 7 and 8 year old children of the program. The weather couldn't have been any nicer and the turnout any better. The 7's who are experiencing Thunder Football for the first time all had an opportunity to introduce themselves to their teammates for the first time. The Thunder Football Directors explained to the kids and parents, 80 new friends for life were made this Sunday. They also had an opportunity to meet their coaches for the upcoming season and show off their speed and quickness while participating in drills set up by the coaches. The 8's or "vets" of the program had the opportunity to show the others how we do things in Thunder Football. They jumped right in as if they have been doing this all their lives. It was great to see all the returning players from last year and the excitement in anticipation of the upcoming season. The sound of "Thunder", "Set" sent chills down the backs of all the returning coaches. 35 Days until the season begins.
