Although the Mets were on the short end of the 5-2 final score, the team had a good run in the play-offs and continued to improve as the season went on. Brandon Teixeira and Jack Rogers anchored the pitching while Michael DeSimone, Timmy Bensen and Brendan Dolan led the hitting attack. No team can make it to the finals without defense, and John Cote, William Longmire, Matt Geraldo and Christopher Hobert were solid. Wally Joe Cook and Michael Bonomi handled most of the catching duties. The coaching staff wishes all the boys a fun summer and look forward to next year.
