GC stepped up to the challenge, dominating the majority of the play, and a goal by Chris Larkin put them ahead at half-time. Massapequa continued putting the pressure on GC, and outstanding goaltending by their keeper kept the Warriors' numerous shots from finding the net. Massapequa scored a goal to tie up the score with just minutes left in the game. The Warriors didn't back down however, playing strong right to the end, and Chris Larkin's 2nd goal gave GC the 2-1 win.

The Warriors finished first in their division with an 8-0-1 record. They worked hard on improving their passing and foot skills, and they really came together as a team. The parents would like to thank Coach Brian Wipperman, and assistant coaches Ray Larkin, John Koester, Jim Fisher and Bill Clarke for their hard work and dedication to the boys.
