Low Putts:Mildred Cirona, Gerda Schoffelen, Anne Marie Gordon, Marion Bursch and Kris Harder (not shown) June 11 th marked the annual and popular Red, White and Blue Tournament at Cherry Valley Club. The nine holers enjoyed a round of golf with friends and competed for prizes in their various flights. A luncheon followed. Red, white and blue decorations set the theme while eclectic food offerings ranged from crab caks and jambalaya to a cream tart for dessert. This event was organized by Willis Priolo and Candice Grimes, with assists from Marge Digan, Miriam Benack, Sue Schoelle, Pat Groarke, Eileen Lamerti, Jane Horn, Kris Harder, Marion Bursch, Kathleen Mullins and Madeline Tierney.

Earning prizes for low gross were: Marilyn Gannon, Miriam Benack, Pat Groarke and Violet Schepis. For low net: Lorraine Brady, Willis Priolo, Liz Fallon and Joan Zarowski. For low putts: Marion Bursch, Ann Marie Gordon, Kris Harder, Gerda Schoffelen and Mildred Cirona. for longest drive: Joanna Rosato, Mary Jane Keegan, Madeline Tierney and Lillian Fitzgerald. For nearest to the pin in two strokes: Julie Boliver.
