Boys Varsity Lacrosse Wins County Championship

 The Garden City Trojans boys varsity lacrosse team took their third straight Nassau Class B championship, defeating South Side, 13-10 on Wednesday, June 4th at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium. This year's team was coached by Steve Finnell with assistants Dave Ettinger, Karl Hedstrom, and Bryan Walker. The 2008 varsity playoff roster includes: Connor Dwyer, Matt Losardo, John Betts, Will Fuller, Mark Fischer, Jon Muscarella, Dan Savage, Michael Lind, Tom Gordon, Brian Coleman, Matt Montgomery, Brian Kentfield, Brendan Carroll, Kevin Dachille, Jared Mitchell, Hayden Fries, Vin Chiodo, Francis McDonough, Joe Alleva, Dan Losardo, Kevin Rose, Steve Hucke, Pierce Bradley, Reid Rosello, Ryan Lynch, Mike Wood, Ken Wright, Billy Durand, Dan Niebler, Stephen Jahelka, Brian Fischer, Pat Reeves, Brian Tempesta, Will Manning, Brendan Engelke, Gavin Crisafulli, Brian McCullough, and Chris Connors.
