St. Anne's Mother Daughter Dance
Girls of all ages enjoy the music.
Every year on the first Friday of June girls from Kindergarten to eighth grade at St. Anne's are all decked out to go out dancing-with their moms! But the most special part of the evening is a 6:00 Liturgy celebrated by Father John and rejoicing in that special connection of mothers and daughters. Great care was taken by some of the eighth grade mothers and daughters to plan this special liturgy. At the conclusion the eighth grade mothers and daughters exchanged letters that they had written to each other and a rose to signify their love. Afterwards they go downstairs to the auditorium where they eat a delicious buffet dinner served by dads, and dance away. This year there were more than 30 beautiful raffle baskets donated by many of the school families. As always there is a photographer on hand and each mom and daughter gets a commemorative photo to remember this cherished event.
