It was an early start on Saturday and the heat was going to be a factor. The game plan for the day was to run and gun when it presented itself and to slow it down to preserve energy and not over heat. The kids followed the game plan and for the most part it worked. The defense was outstanding the whole day. Thomas Mascola, Justin Holloway, Brian Colamussi and Matthew Borges picked up every loose ball and moved it up the field to jump start the offense. Matthew Borges used some Ballet moves on occasion to get by the other team. The offense was also doing their part all day. They won 75% of the face-offs and averaged 10 goals a game on the day. Goals came from everyone and everywhere on Saturday. Colin DeAngelo, Brian Irwin, Scott Irwin, Chris Repetti, James Sullivan, Quinn McDonagh, Matthew Esposito, Liam Byrnes, Joe Parrinnelli, and Brian Goulard ended the day with either multiple goals or multiple assists. Between the pipes for the Renegades on Saturday was Connor Brown. He played outstanding. Made some big saves and even had a shutout in one game and only let up 1 goal in another. A great sign the boys are playing team lacrosse and not relying on one player to do it all.

The Renegades still have a couple of tournaments to play but overall the coaches were pleased with the progress made during the season and are looking forward to next season.
