Garden City Police arrested a Roosevelt man on June 9th who they believe has committed a series of thefts in and around Garden City.

According to police, Willis C. Sanders of Roosevelt illegally entered an office at 1325 Franklin Avenue and stole a wallet from a man's unattended suit jacket. After an investigation by Nassau County and Garden City police, Sanders was charged with six similar burglaries in Nassau County between May 16th and June 9.
